tonphilmore from london on 2002-01-02 18:13 [#00065645]

if fact tape the best bits and it just about fits on one

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-02 18:17 [#00065647]

I agree with Pendulum, frankly!

Caserol Joe the Chubby from mpls on 2002-01-02 18:38 [#00065652]

Rob.E. from London on 2002-01-02 22:41 [#00065730]

"Drukqs" rocks, and it pisses on anything...}:>

sgorhud from your rectum hole on 2002-01-03 10:31 [#00065835]

you only have to decide to, mate

Chrispy from UK on 2002-01-03 13:06 [#00065847]

Why do people either really hate this Album or really praise
it? I like it but its not my fav CD in the world by a long
shot.

Archrival on 2002-01-03 13:56 [#00065855]

I totally agree with Pendulum.

E man from Noitac ol on 2002-01-03 14:15 [#00065857]

What I like in this album is there is a little bit of
everyone and a little bit for everyone... if u know what I
mean.
Besides I do not think it's rich's best, but I think it's
underappreciated, and praised for the wrong reasons

Quoth from Lincoln on 2002-01-03 18:06 [#00065883]

to be completely honest... Drukqs and all of it's songs has
NOT ONE measure being the same... isn't that fucking crazy?
I love that kind of style of music. After I bought Drukqs, I
started d/l'ing some "2 remixes by AFX" and was mezmorized
by this album too.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2002-01-03 18:36 [#00065886]

It makes me head explode!!!! The sheer volume of shit he
crams into the acid tracks, it's a little overwhelming,
innit?

John john from Sweden on 2002-01-03 19:59 [#00065916]

I love when he put a lot of stuff into one single track!!!!
:)

Hes ambitious and I like people who put in work to their
art.

zetre on 2002-01-03 23:14 [#00065953]

"" what Chrispy said..

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2002-01-04 03:10 [#00065996]

yeah I'm with Chrispy and Zetre... it's good, and has a lot
of great stuff... but it's not my favorite...

Pendulum from Australia on 2002-01-04 17:45 [#00066204]

Crispy and co... maybe this is because it's an extreme kinda
album. it'd have to be classified as inside obscurist's
taste range, hence the love or hate attitudes towards
drukqs. sorta like bjork before she found some mainstream
popularity.

and E man, i appreciate the album for the same sorta reasons
Ophecks does. the magnitude of some of the tracks really
does blow your fuckin mind.. put some classy headphones on
and you'll be seeing spots in no time

E-man from Noitac ol on 2002-01-05 13:13 [#00066413]

DrukQs, to me, is like the war of sounds and music...
It's brutal(except piano song) for the most part, speedy,
radical, explosive, it set fires at everything in your mind,
it changes your mind i think.
I'm not the same when i listen to drukQs.
It's defenetly not the songs i like the mosst but it's the
songs that have the most effects on me... really.
like in the topic drukQs not for animals, there is many
hidden stuff in drukQs, as in many aphex songs, high pitched
noise u can't hear, sounds lost in the sonic wall he
creates, voices, etc...
but in drukQs I think its what he wanted to do : an album
not of pleasant music, but an album that will transform (in
good ot bad) those who listen to it, one that will hurt
everyone... and I think once again he succeeded

Caserol Joe the Chubby from mpls on 2002-01-05 17:45 [#00066435]

Mr. E. I find much ofDrukqs to be very pleasant, not just
the piano tracks. Meltface, mt st mich... come on! Sure a
lot of rdjs music is a headfuck, but not in an unpleasant
way, but in way that makes you have to put all yur focus on
the music to appreciate it. As a background piece it's
quite horrible, but the music is extremely pleasant.

DJCJ from CT, USA on 2002-01-06 04:32 [#00066578]

yeah right...i love it all...it isnt 'normal' and thats
especially what i love about it...

Intruder from chicago on 2002-01-06 07:40 [#00066618]

About the only time i get a hankering for Drukqs is for the
begining of 54 cymru beats, and sometimes vordhosbn. its not
a bad album. just doesnt leave a lasting impression on me.
very forgetable.

E man from Noitac ol on 2002-01-06 12:08 [#00066640]

I loooooooove the piano songs ( well not them all), I just
think that they are not the body of the album, more like two
separate album.
