i know you're not online, but i just wanted to say that
your current av (posted below) gave me a flashback to my
childhood

it was NOT the actual picture on the av, it was actually the
colours.

it didn't remind me of a particular instance, it just made
me think of times long gone, times when things didn't
matter, and all i ever had to worry about was if my friends
were coming out to play.

i just wish that things were that simple now

aw what a nice post. Because you said it I feel a bit the
same way. Thoose are easy, laidback, notroubleing colors.

i do not know much about uzim, i just know that he seems to
have a penchant for japanese styled stuff, and he seems to

i dunno what it is, but it makes me remember my childhood.

as a kid i was fascinated by holograms and things like that,
and the colours in that av just seemed to trigger that
childhood fascination again.

funny how something as little as that can trigger something
that feels so..tangible

(my avatars are often "rainbowed" like this, though this one
is more pastel-like ^^)

i do like NIN, though i only rarely listen to it anymore
now... there was a time when it was my favourite band; i
still love the music but the lyrics are a bit too angsty and
all for me now...

if you want to try Merzbow, you can try downloading stuff
here - be warned though, it's... "noise". you
might want to turn the volume down a bit before you start or
something.

well, i just had quick listen through to the first three
tracks there, and they sound pretty cool.

i think i may have to invest some money in this "merzbow"

i just realised what your av reminded me of...

the game Adventure for the Atari.

when you completed a level, the whole room flashed in pastel
colours, just like your av does :)
