Counter-Strike!

I am a huge fan of Counter-Strike. I did a couple of forum
searches and I saw that people were asking if anyone played,
but these pleas were ignored. It would be cool to know if
anyone else here plays and maybe now we can unite all c-s
players in this thread.

This thread was for c-s appreciation. NOT for people like
you shaking up the humble cage of Counter-Strike

counterstrike and my brothers penchant for it and the fact
that the two computers share the broadband

=

me not being able to keep slsk on continuously

thus, it can be proved empirically that counterstrike is a
bad thing

..although i remember liking it - awp is it? - mm etc

Well i guess u hav a good reason for not liking it but the
only reason that bad thing happened was becos it is so
good.

and yes, awp, yummy.

CS consumed 2+ years of my life and was the reason I got
broadband. I was awesome at one point but then I just lost
interest - couldn't stop playing though so I unistalled just
before 1.6 came out and i don't dare reinstall it as I just
won't do any work :) Wicked game though and I haven't played
anything else online that has touched it

p.s Playing s1oned was MEGA fun ;)

Well if anyone wants a good meeting place then I play on
this server a lot 82.197.68.49:27075. It has a good
ping and a max of 16 players with a good map rotation. I
will be there tomorrow in the evening (GMT+0.00)

I'm curious as to whether or not anyone has tried CS:
Condition Zero yet.

I don't have CS installed at the moment, but I still have
the CD. I'd probably have to go to FilePlanet to update it
to the latest version though.

when i was unemployed, i played counter strike about 60-70
hours a week.

it is the only thing i've ever really felt addicted to. it
took about 3 tries for me to quit.

i still love it and often think about it even after 2 years
of not playing. no other game has had that kind of hold on
me ever.
