i wasted the whole day today and done nothing...and it feel great...but at the same time it bothers me, cuz i know i should have done many things. it must be great if you can come home after work and put all your work aside until the next day - and not to think about any of that at all...are there still jobs like that? i want one.

God no. Nothing's a waste as long as you enjoy yourself. Don't feel guilty to have a ''pointless'' day. It's good for your sanity and your soul. Days like this are absolutely necessary.
I'd despise having a job that didn't stop when the shift ended. Every job I've ever had, as soon as I leave, that's it for me. I pass over into a totally different plane of existence, a wonderful one.

tolstoyed I can relate to you with this. Today I woke up at 10:30, ate some food, went on the pc and that's it. I agree with Ophecks but I can't help feeling like I should have done what I needed to do and I know that I will regret it. I'm glad somebody has brought this up as I was thinking the exact same thing.
