SAW II = Mistake.

My personal theory over SAWII, no matter how much I like
it, is that it was stumbled upon rather than intentionally
created. I think Aphichard T Wames was making a beat driven
follow up to the original SAW but one day he went to the
shops and left his beats in the trolley. Even though he
reported it to security, the beats were never found :(

Warp Records then threatened to get a contract killer on his
case unless he supplied an album. In place of an album with
beats he sent two CD's worth without beats, hoping that Warp
would realise he had lost the beats at the shops.

Warp released the album to less than critical praise...but a
whole collection of nerds got the perfect ambient album that
they could beat box over...thus creating a new genre called
human beatbox ambient. The world became a better place and
everyone lived happily ever after.

That is the TRUE story of SAW II

Aphex Twin has only sneezed 7 times in his life. Fact.

Aphex Twin owns a tank, a subway and the whole continent of
Africa. That's because he's a genius.

People should just realise that we the human race as a whole
should build more underground passageways.

It is the bi-product of the horse-factory. Millions of lions
are released into the rivers each year, and when they hit
land, they'll root, and grow into a TREE OF LIONS!

the beats were strangulated by a maniac cat, using dental
thread in a secret room of a psychiatric clinic before he
was electrocuted by a mutating bubblegum monster.

some people say that sometimes, the beats come back as
ghosts in the dead of night and if you listen to the album
at this precise moment, you can hear them on the album. but
it also kills you. and then you're dead and you encounter a
window "do you want to become a ghost? Y/N". but you can't
choose "maybe". it's terrible, indeed.

Yes...what happened there was that when the courier came
round to collect the masters he accidently handed some of my
beats in with some of his own from none SAWII work.

Therefore good tracks with beats = Mine
The ones you don't like = Twichards.

the reason i love saw2 as opposed to saw85-92 (which i'm
really not too keen on) is that it's not beaty.. nice and
ambient as it should be..

have beats!! Maybe the whole album was composed this way...

I once saw those lost beats

it was in gibraltar... yes, I was sailing from gibraltar to
Ceuta (africa) and I was watching at the ocean when I saw a
group of dolphins following the boat... so I was all excited
as it was so beautifull to see them... then they started to
make this strange sounds... but not the ususal dolphin
sounds, no... they sounded like techno ambient beats...
very much like those in tha or xtal... so I thought... "
man, these could be the lost beats of saw II" but I never
believed what I had seen that day... till I read this thread
