A really nice suprise i thought, when the glassy cool, understated beats come in. I expect everything to sound like sub-par Autechre glitchiness or Squarepusher "complexity = good" bollocks so it's nice to hear something confident of itself enough that it doesn't rely on hackneyed overload. It's kind of expansive sounding, there's laptop rave but this sounds like the servers at the Pentagon getting jiggy. I look forward to hearing more. |
