glace syncopation

i've uploaded a new noise-ish song of mine, which is sort
of a combination of a few other tracks that i have uploaded
in the past that were a bit too sparse by themselves, but
seem a bit more interesting when combined and with some
different schtuff added.
i'd possibly call it an eerie, noisy-ambient
extraterrestrial sonic mugging. but it might be much less or
more than that.

this took a few days worth of upload-attempts on my crappy,
sub-56k oft-disconnecting modem, and even now the very
ending bit might be chopped off, but if anyone could give it
a listen and give me their honest opinion of it, it would be
greatly appreciated.
"thank you" in advance to anyone who gives it a try.

i like the track - very cool. there's some great sounds
happening in there! but it kind of ended abruptly (6:42).

thanks much, r40f for the listen. i'm glad you liked it. as
i pointed out before, the end might've gotten chopped off,
but it does sort of end abruptly anyway.

and thanks, DeadEight for at least giving it a try. i know
many people out there have trouble accessing the wire.fm
page, and i only used it because the file was too large for
my zebox account.

on the mac or here at work with the pc.

take it back to good old zebox.

well i really did want to hear your track... but now the
wire.fm site's completely down so....

i went and listened to your tracks on Zebox:
make sure theyre vaccinated properly: an very interesting
sounding edited field recording... i like your production
aesthetic... sounds creepy... suggestive... this one, while
not immediately striking as a composition, sealed the deal
for me, and i definitely plan on listening to all your spam
now...

squelched superiority & dynamics of autonomic blood loss:
both awesome tracks... nice textured noise, creepy,
contorted use of instruments and buzzing drones... they both
sound as though they are small samples of larger songs... if
this is the case, i hope you've stretched out these ideas to
full potential, cause they sound like they could last
another 10 minutes or so and still be interesting...

awesome dude...

Thank you very much for listening. i'm glad you enjoyed the
songs. the few people who gave me feedback for "make sure
they're vaccinated properly" and "dynamics of autonomic
blood loss" seemed to either somewhat dislike the style, or
might've not known exactly "where i was trying to come from"
with the songs. the track for this thread, "glace
syncopation" is actually an amalgamation of both tracks.. i
wrote them separately, but in the same day, and later played
them simultaneously and they seem to fit together nicely,
and strangely. ..it is a area i wanted to explore while
writing my next "album", or shoddy collection of
songs,.. to have individual musical pieces that can be
appreciated individually or could possibly be combined with
a "counterpart" track of the same length on an additional
disc. i don't know.. maybe it is a stupid idea, or
somethin'..
but regardless, again, thanks for taking the time to write a
thorough review and everything.
if you liked those tracks then you might want to hear
this one once wire.fm is back up again.
well,

i'm an italic-y bast-ard.

in the meantime, if you for some reason feel like listening
to one of my other tracks instead. i suggest "squelched
superiority" which can be found here..

heh....heh.. sorry.

i've uploaded a new noise-y, but still somewhat musical
track: scores of aluminium furniture lined around sharp corners. <- located there, if anyone is
interested.

scores of aluminum furniture lined around sharp corners:
while the piece doesn't hang together all that well
compositionally (at least upon listening to it a few
times)... there are a lot of ideas that crop up here that
are wonderful... i like the little noise-beats breakdown in
the middle, and the acoustic guitar... so far if your work
reminds me of anyone, it's definitely leafcutter john...
genuinely interesting, challenging, fragmented, and there is
an interest in the role silence plays in music... this is
all excellent... but i'd suggest to you (in the name of
being constructive) that you should try to stretch out some
of your ideas into more coherent compositions... perhaps
there are thematic elements present throughout that i am
just not hearing, or perhaps you have such pieces sitting on
your hard drive, or whatever... in any case my intention is
not to come down hard on you or anything... i'd just be
really interested to see the kind of things you can achieve
with as open a musical mind as you have... be sure to keep
spamming :)
