i'm taking a practice final exam online. i'm currently trying to finish my associates, for nursing. in that particular problem the multiple choices are
a {2,3) b {-1/3, 1/2} c {-3,2} d {-2,3}
thanks though you're more than welcome to give it another try. i stopped at x(x+1) =6 then i was trying to figure out how they got to those answers

yo, multiply through by x^2, then collect on one side:
x^2 + x - 6 = 0
factor
(x+3)(x-2) = 0
x is -3 or +2

Or, in case you come across a quadratic polynomial that you can't factor as easily:
You have:
a*x^2 + b*x + c = 0.
You do:
x^2 + (b/a)*x + c/a = 0 x1 = - b/2a + squareroot((b/2a)^2 - c/a) x2 = - b/2a - squareroot((b/2a)^2 - c/a).
If D=(b/2a)^2-c/a is zero, then x1=x2, which means there's only one solution. If D is real and not zero, then there are two solutions, which are real only if D>0. You probably won't have to deal with complex numbers, so that's all you need to know: D>0, two solutions. D=0, one solution. D<0, no real solution.
So in your case:
a=1, b=1, c=-6. D=1/4+6= (2 1/2)^2 x1 = - 1/2 + sqrt(6 1/4) = 2 x2 = - 1/2 - sqrt(6 1/4) = -3.

no, but ive notived a few white ones slipping in
fact: your hair chromosomes are from your mothers dads side
so... whatever kind of hair your grandpa (genetic grandpa) has, you have a high probability of having the same
in my case: my grandpa has a full head of hair, and gets it crew-cut

Very funny. The lack of brackets confused me. I like Radiohead's stuff up to Ok Computer (I like Iron Lung and How am I driving, but they were both recorded before OK computer was released).
Kid A etc. have been pretty mediocre IMO.
