10.0: Must be Radiohead 9.5-9.9: Great enough to play on your college radio set 9.0-9.4: Try playing this one on your guitar all night in your dorm room
8.5-8.9: The CD is pretty good but runs the risk of becoming mainstream
8.0-8.4: You should buy any green washed out retro t-shirts by this band
7.5-7.9: Good enough for maybe a sticker on your guitar case
7.0-7.4: Decent enough to talk about in the coffee shop 6.0-6.9: Needs more white guitarists with black-rimmed glasses
5.0-5.9: Might be good for a fratboy band, those neanderthals
4.0-4.9: Reviewer couldn't find any Cloves before writing and was angry
3.0-3.9: Too many unintelligent people might understand it 2.0-2.9: Curls up the ends of our bowl haircuts with shame 1.0-1.9: Did not cause a single tear to flow from our weepy eyes
0.0-0.9: That ain't Radiohead
.the best!

funnny but the pitchfork bashing thing is getting pretty tiresome... particularly when the parodying is so prejudiced that it's completely off the mark... the things about pitchfork that are silly are the kind of things that don't need to be exaggerated, they need only be presented...

I forgive pitchfork for its human flaws and foibles, and I forgive somethingawful for laughing at its flaws
I love all life

I'm not really familiar with pitchfork, but they did have examples of their reviews on the real SA main page.
Though what they say about Radiohead is pretty much true: Radiohead - Hail to the thief - 9.3 Radiohead - Kid A - 10.0 Radiohead - Amnesiac - 9.0 Radiohead - OK Computer - 10.0
Autechre - Draft 7.30 - 6.3 <------BURN IN HELL MOTHERFUCKERS!

i don't really understand their (uber)affection with radiohead... but it's a perfect example of why pointing to them as obssessed with inaccessibility is off the mark... there's now an entire section devoted (almost entirely) to commenting on pop songs... and in a lot of cases they are way to forgiving of total shite pop...

Nigel, you crazy. How can you not love a comic where goth cheerleaders hang themselves at a pep rally, and a mysterious glowing orb creates a kid's dream spaceship out of a sketch on looseleaf? Where talking alcohol convinces a hot MILF to sunbathe topless?
You need to re-examine your priorities.
