'dig your roots' (lame name, i know) broadcasts via several canadian radio stations a series of live concerts in a specific genre over a series of days every month. april is electronica month. there are still three concerts left: Tuesday April 20 – Guelph, ON - Bookshelf Ebar, 41 Quebec St. Thursday April 22 – Winnipeg, MB - Pyramid Cabaret, 176 Fort St. Saturday April 24 – Vancouver, BC - Video In Studios, 1965 Main St. you can see the roster of artists, and sample some tracks, here: and you can pick a radio station to listen through here: (most of them offer a live internet stream) check it out! i'm sure some of these artists are going to be very good. |
