I'd have to agree, anything that doesn't change tends to get
a little boring.
haha

because the songs allow for concentration it lets them dig a
hole in your brain for the time duration

anyway, yeah, about the quote...

to someome who has not listened to a certain song by
autechre, it is like they temporarily become part of this
other machine/organism and that occupation of their brain
(depending on how open they are to the sounds) changes with
the music, to repeats of songs it is like the small chunk of
your brain that is part of the music is molded, beaten,
slapped like clay each time you listen to it, like your
brain is palpable and soft..

that is also why i think most work best in [good :D]
headphones. like the stuff i saw them do in austin was so
completely occupying of my mind, and i was just letting them
into my brain and i was downloading the fresh beats and
alien sounds... but i sort of resented it because... i was
like... "i wish this was going straight into my ears"

i mean, believe me, it was loud as fuck.. but i wished i had
headphones for it would've made for a much larger
'occupation' of my mind

i swear to god that fucking shit was telepathic. it was
language.

most think, or say, "when you tune into that kind of stuff,
it is probably just wishful thinking that they are actually
jacking into your brains"

but i think its in the same fashion that you are reading
these words right now, that have come down from my brain and
fingers onto the keyboard and imprinted onto phobiazeros
messageboard system, you are all essentially reading my
mind

just as you would read a book

yeah i know my english is shit, hope it is easy to
understand

reading text is not like reading the writer's mind.

that's just silly.
