 | this isn't funny at all
i mean the person who made it even has the audacity to say
they made it in Sound Recorder, which is total bullshit

 | I'm not sure it wasn't made, etc in Sound Rec, but I didn't like it.
It just got me fucking annoyed. I hate thoose -alert-
 sounds.
 to hell with them!
If it wasn't for that the samples were famous this could
never be interesting. I didn't find it interesting now
either (there have been other tracks like this, sampleing
 windows-sounds before).
But I don't really get the topic. Why would this be called
 IDM?

 | no mate, trust me - this wasn't done using Sound Recorder, some of the effects done on the sounds cannot be done in
Sound Recorder, and you'd have to use some sort of audio
sequencer to do the track anyways.

you're right about the fact that if the sounds weren't so
ubiquitous then this track would be of no interest.

i think the only reason people are dubbing it (falsely) with
the IDM genre is because it's "unusual"

so does that mean if I record myself throwing up, and
shitting in the toilet and sequence it in a slightly musical
way, does that make it IDM?

 lol

 | That was pretty clever. I have no idea if it is actually possible to create something like that with sound-recorder
(probably not). But the flash-animation made it look
 authentic enough.

and on the topic of wether its possible to do that in sound
 recorder, just ask oddioblender, 73h 1337 w1nd0wz s0und

 | i thought it was kind of cool, if only for the misguided hope that it actually was done in Sound Rec, which it
 obviously wasnt.

 and the melody was shit.
