this board doesn't have it's own identity. it's just filled up with people. the people make it what it is. since only the person themself has power over only what they do (with the expection of moderators and such for the ban bans) you should just worry about yourself. for instance, if someone thinks there are too many negative or artist bashing threads, instead of pointing this out in a very instigative fashion, just start a thread about an artist you like. if it turns to crap, oh well, you've done your part. if someone thinks there are too many nonsense threads, then start a serious topic or a topic about music. many thanks, -the cube cruncher |

I think the Curb dude is right. Plus I think that there are loads of threads that discuss music in a fashion that is both enlightening and educational, i have certainly learnt of quite a bit of new music since i first popped by here. I think daftness and seriousness, like ying and... yang, are two sides of the same limited edition special brown vinyl release. If the people didn't want the silliness, it would not be here, but they do, and I... I... can't remember what my point was. |
