i'm surprized this isn't getting more hype on here, but its
really an excellent album. alot of stuff that isn't that
close gets squarepusher comparisons from idm kids who don't
know much else, but as somebody who listens to alot of this
kind of music, i'd say this REALLY strikes of
squarepusher...

and i don't mean that in a bad way it all.

its got the hyper breaks, the live bass, quirky touches
and beautiful synths. not so much of the jazz influence, or
the overly glitchy sounds, or garage flurishes of the newer
squarepusher. i'd say its got more of an intelligent drum
and bass influence, as some of the tracks would pretty well
fit into the older Good-Looking catalog.

very solid album - highly recommended!

"you take the world's weight away" off april and the
sunshine shed was a nice bit. haven't heard this album
though...

hahaha...the guy does have a tendency to get a bit
inflated...i dig half and half of his output...some of its
good, some just really subpar, masked by good production
technique.
