One of my tunes got featured on a show called ZedTV which
airs on CBC in Canada.

The snare is horribly EQ'd and too loud so Take a listen and
die
.

Well this show ZedTV is an Art/Culture show designed to
promote Canadian artists. They let you upload your
art, music, film, nose pickings to their website and they
select pieces to be aired.

The good news is that its open to everyone worldwide, so you
dont have to be Canadian.

ZedTV

Good place to host your music for free if you dont have a
space online yet.

just listened to it... its fucking good man, the only thin I
dont really like are the brass sounds used... they are good
quality, but dont really fit the feel of the song IMO... I
think something a little more synthesized would have been
good there... but otherwise, great stuff.

Thanks for the input guys.
Zeph: I did the brass because its sorta reminiscent of a
cartoon villain marching his way into the song.

They got their name after the NFB (National Film Board).
It's a government-run organization that promotes Canadian
film. They have alot of Documentaries and short films out
that cover weird topics (such as a nuculear reactor being
donated to a town in India). They have a branch in my city
actually.

what you make your track with
what you rip it with (i d/l a 64 k version and even that
sounded great)
while we're at it: where'd you get your samples from

i have to learn about stuff like this

That one was done in FL. The instruments are synthesized.
Theres a sample of crashing waves in there (but chopped
heavily). Most samples were recorded via MD. (Cant say
enough good things about MD)

how bout that!
well i cant even afford that
also my soundcard (built on motherboard) is quite shite..

but did you chop and synthesized or whatever its called in
fl or some other program

and the ripping to mp3, with me the effect arent too good..

id like to go and get samples from my own cd's. what did you
sample then for example with your minidisc?

I sampled with my microphone.
