It's been a while since I posted here (had a different name
before) and I'm hoping it's still okay to post songs.

If it's okay, please download (right-click, save target as)
Hyperblaster and have a listen.

Note: I had to rename the extension to *.txt because this
free host I'm using doesn't allow the mp3 file extension. If
anyone knows a better site I can use (for free) to upload my
mp3s, I'd be happy to know. If/when you do download my song,
just rename it to Hyperblaster.mp3 and it should be ready to
play.

Also, if for some reason it's now against rules to post
songs, just disregard and/or delete this thread. I'll
understand.

Thanks!

you're insane renaming antics intrigued me.

also the track's title, which is very silly.

having a listen now - this sounds like it's been made about
10 years ago. I'm sorry, all this flanging 'n stuff won't
do.

sounds like this track is clipping to hell and back. now,
I'm not necessarily against clipping, but here it just makes
your production sound pretty bad.

the switch to the bass rumbles feels pretty arbitrary to
me.

in short: not for me.

at least taking a listen.

weird, it shouldn't have run out already... are there any
mp3 storage sites these days? seems like artist sites are a
thing of the past

the link seems to be working just fine, no quota errors...

Getting now.

Honestly though...if I clicked the link it took me to the
quota message and if I right clicked and saved I only get a
file called Message.html(or something similar) as a
download.

I sort of agree with qrter...It sounds like a fairly basic
track that you have loaded with effects (bitcrusher in
particular) to try and make it sound more detailed. But
unfortunately it just sounds poorly produced.

well, to be fair, it wasn't exactly "produced" with high-end
fancy gear... just some simple computer software is all

I meant produced as in made. Most people here just use
simple computer sodtware :D

true enough, but this is just for fun for me. it's a hobby
more than anything, i'm not trying to replicate aphex twin.
just putting stuff together and if someone else happens to
find it interesting, good. :)

i dont think this very good to be honest.

its almost very old school hardcore, but then its not even
quite that.

lose the bit crusher, it doesnt really suit the "breaks"
nature of the track, also putmore though into melody (even
if its just a bass line)

plus vary your shit up more :)

it got pretty tedious early on (for me, sorry)

rather know. just makes me work harder next time!
