Fucking smart work getting his own independent release sold
through Warpmart don't you think :D

Also what do you all think of the new Squarepusher T-Shirts.
I'd never buy one but I think they look pretty good.

On the back it just has squarepusher written. On the front
is all the equation like scribblings that where in the
special edition booklet of Ultravisitor.

Oh, I thought Global Goon was supposed to be good. Never
heard much of his stuff except the comp remixes. Seemed ok
nothing that blew me away.

it's d-list 'idm'. he so wants to be AFX, it's painful, but
his music is like AFX diluted with 10 parts water.

boring.

he once shared a house with AFX, and frequently makes a
point of reminding everybody about it.

He does have his very own sound...and it's stupid saying he
wants to be AFX because that's just bullshit, he just makes
music that he likes which is why he got signed to Rephlex in
the first place, it's a completely different style of sound.
I haven't asked but I personally think Mr James had some
input in Vatican Nitez, especially the drum programming on
Business Man which doesn't sound like J's style.

"he once shared a house with AFX, and frequently makes a
point of reminding everybody about it"

hmm...I have never seen him mention it actually (except for
when someone asks him).

I like the way you just pop up these days to have a go at
certain artists...sadly though your posts just come across
like you are bitter about something.

Fuck everytime I see these bitter words against Global Goon,
my first thought, I close the thread, but then I just leave
it alone.

I don't know what's the problem with the guy, if you can
make better music, then release it, and shut the fuck up.

dont see why people are shit to him. Shame he never posts
here anymore.

Thats just silly Battie-boy. He does not try to sound like
AFX. There are absolutely no similarities. I agree that his
last release is kinda weak, but Vatican Nitez are just
excellent

the goon release myself!

He used his voice too much in the last release, I think.
He's not a pop-idol :)

Family Glue is excellent, especially Glory B and Who Gonched
Ya? Fans of Dang Spot by Plaid would enjoy it massively.
It is a development of Vatican Nitez, but moves even further
away from the SAW 85-92 blueprint by adding a funk/Beach
Boysesque feel to it. A great summer album I think.
