The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown

Since this been flying high in the US bestsellers' list for
something like 50 weeks now, I'm guessing some of you will
have read it -- I'm about 400 pages in to this, and it is
pretty intriguing... I've read most of the propositions in
it before, but this must have gone pretty mainstream to sit
so prominently in the bestseller list for so long --
especially since it doesn't exactly have a very pro-church
stance ... anyway, I picked it up cheap at ASDA (acquired by
WalMart) and I'm enjoying it, and recommend it.

Actually, I too am planning to purchase more of his work. He
has a website, here, which I've yet to really
explore.

Anyway, this book involves the fibonacci sequence, Phi, The
Priory of Sion, The Holy Grail being Mary Magdalene, wife of
"Jesus Christ", Opus Dei, The Vatican, Da Vinci of course
... all in all, some interesting information is being
carried to a seemingly wide amount of personages!

It's just a little GIF file I made, using pictures from
various horror films, and a picture of a barn taken during
the Great Depression of the 1930s ... Michael Myers is
there, as is, as you noted, Pinhead ... Danny from the
Shining finishes the piece ... can't remember who else :Ø

Oh, there's a zombie from Zombie Flesh Eaters, the one
underwater that wrestles a shark, I think ... also, a
female victim from Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer :×)

leaves by mark z danielski. I highly recomend this one that
probably isn't saying much since none of you know me but it
for any one who is eager to read something that hasn't been
done before to my knowledge

I'm somewhat of a scholar in some of the areas the book
dabbles in. I'll just say take all of it with a grain of
salt.

It is a noce book, though.

Yes, I, too, have researched most of the areas dealt with in
the book (apart from Opus Dei) ... but I think this is good
because it takes these ideas to the General Public, and
judging from the Bestseller List, quite a number of the
General Public.

I stumbled across the book on amazon, but havn't read it. I
really like Da Vinci's drawings. I did read something by
gould perhaps, about how Da Vinci was trying to logically
figure out how clam shell fossils have been found in high
mountains (other than a great noah flood).

My old college library was awesome- 5 stories. I found a
really old dusty Da Vinci book, it might have even been
written by him, I forget. But it had a lot of his drawings
in it.

"logically figure out how clam shell fossils have been found

for that kind of flood the polar ice caps would have to melt
and reform in 50days approx

Bear in mind that this book is a work of fiction, w M w ...
I finished earlier today, and now I've started on a Philip K
Dick book, The World Jones Made, one of his I haven't
actually read, which is nice.
