"hey I cant do followups, when did this place get so mac
unfriendly?... "

I´m on several macs and it´s actually possible to do it
with netscape, but then again netscape turns the site into
something quite abstract and messy, so "mac unfriendly" is
all what´s left... :(

The news from and about Iraq, chronicling a quickening
spiral of disaster for the US, is spilling out faster than
even the experienced surfer can follow. The news is of a
country united in a common cause: driving out the foreign
invader and occupying power; of a militarized, imperial,
foreign government attempting to run an ancient
civilization, about which it knows or cares nothing; and of
the impassioned desire for self-government proving to be
more powerful than history's wealthiest and most powerful
state.

NORA: it's bush's fault that gas prices are so high!! and
all the fucking commercials that bush is campaigning, say
that herry will make them go up... he can't fix right away,
what bush already fucked up!

crazone: HOTT avatar.

opec controls this not the president persay, its in part
because it's taken longer to get iraq back on line. In
addition, about 300,000 barrels of nigerian oil production
are curtailed because of local political turmoil. At the
same time, venezuelan oil production has not returned to
pre-strike levels this is because its also going through
turmoil primarily because of hugo chavez.

pantalaimon: well, I´m one of the 60%(quote from steve jobs
in january 2004) of the macusers who don´t run OS X yet...
Does it all works in X?
(I´ll switch to it when I buy a computer made for it)

wow, is it that many? OS X has been out for years. OS9 is a
horrible system to use.

pantalaimon: yeah, I was quite surprised too... (the funny
thing is that steve jobs said that the transition to X among
macusers now was over! how about the 60% thats left then?)
Don´t share your 9-experiences though, 9.2.2 is easy and
simple and runs all my ancient funny little soundappz....

i guess i'm just used to OSX, its so much more stable than
OS9. My mac has 'never' crashed in OSX. I can't understand
why people don't upgrade, you could even download it if you
don't want to pay for it.

what if EVERYONE voted for the third party? maybe the
problem is that everyone thinks like "oh, it's no use voting
for a third party. Bush'll get re-elected anyway." vote for
the third party! tell your friends and your family!

I'd vote for Kucinich, but since that won't make one shit
load of difference it'll have to be Kerry.

Kucinich's policies aren't popular enough for everyone to
vote for him, although I wish more people would vote third
party.

for the love of god vote kerry... i think he's a shithead,
but i'd really like to have a world worth living in for the
remainder of my lifetime... it's really unnerving to watch
this election go down, as a foreigner, knowing how much the
outcome will affect the world...

that whole lesser of two evils crap is such shit. kerry is
the biggest fucking waste.. just because you hate bush,
don't haphazardly vote in frankenstein

i also hate how they are attacking bush for not stopping
911.. science fiction could not have predicted that shit.
the democrats dont give a shit about 9/11 they are just
using it/and its victims to attack bush..

i don't think anyone here thinks that kerry is awesome...
and under less DIRE circumstances i would urge people to
vote for a third party candidate... but if Bush has his
actions legitimized by another election victory, the
implications for the rest of the world are extremely
serious... i don't know for certain that Kerry will be any
help at all (i worry about this a lot)... but he's basically
our only hope at this point...

i'd vote for kucinich if he had a snowball's chance.
Nader is good too, but since most of his votes come from
disgruntled democrats, voting for him would just give shrub
(bush) the majority, and i'd sooner vote Jerry Lewis into
the white house before i'd vote for kerry. oops, too
late.....
