How is the post-Plaid stuff compared to the earlier works?
Can you recommend some new stuff?

I have

spanners
bytes
peel sessions
music for adverts

and I love them all

bytes is the most popular, but spanners would be my
favourite, follow by m.f.a.

it sounds extremely oldschool, but at the time this was
released they were truly pioneering, and you can hear that
in the music,.. they had no iunfluences to work on, so it's
a truly emotional and original sound, I cannot stress how
much I like black dog,.. and I'm not exactly a huge fan of
plaid myself :)

I hoped you could recommend something by BD after the
Plaid-guys left. I know the old stuff

I think music for adverts was done after the plaid guys
left... only because it's fairly recent for them...

Music for Adverts I really like, lots of short pieces
covering the classic Black Dog sound, 'jungle' and ambient.
There was also the single "Babylon" with Ofra Haza, which
had some ok moments but wasn't genius, nice remixes by Jimi
(KLF/Scourge of the Earth/Black Smoke) Cauty though.

I think Plaid pale in comparison to Black Dog, evidently it
is for threes after all.

Strange Hill from MFA is awesome. It's an acid track slowed
down and then some nice piano comes in. There are other
goodies on MFA too.
