Kyne on 2001-12-26 03:05 [#00064097]

Try and pronounce every song title on Drukqs (this is a lot
more fun when drunk).

Cornish and Welsh are very similair languages. Also "54
Cymru beats" is undeniably a Welsh track name.

I wonder what the significance of that date is? I'm sure
there's some AFX-bods who will haughtily inform me.

because of the strong link between cornwall and wales
obviously. Their languages are the oldest surving British
languages - in fact, I read that welsh is a mixture between
original english and latin.

Cause there are alot of welsh speakers in cornwall.

I can see cornwall from my house on a sunny day, we're that
close.

He and his family have very strong welsh acents

There's a spiritual bond between the two places, Bob.

im not trolling, im just confused...i know most druqks
tracks ar cornish, yet your all suddenly pro-wales....

Rich is practically welsh. He has a house in Swansea, he
uses welsh in his track titles, he has a welsh accent and
you could swim to cornwall from wales.

Cornish peeps are kinda like mongrals (No offence =oD) They
may as well be welsh

offline marlowe from Antarctica on 2003-05-08 08:03 [#00689417]

Plus Cornish people like to think of themselves as an
independant nation don't they? Another identifying feature
with wales

He allegedly has a house in the Gower. He does not
have a Welsh accent in the slightest, his mum does. And I'd
like to see you swim to Cornwall!

His parents are meant to have a house there... I didn't know
he was...

His mum does have a welsh accent when you hear her on
lornaderek.

Cornwall is about 8 miles by sea. A challenging swim, but
I'd give it a go in the right weather conditions with a
safety boar present ;)

Sorry, but I don't think he has a Welsh accent at all
either, if you listen to him in radio interviews he sounds
nothing like it. He doesn't even have a particularly strong
cornish one.

offline pOgO from behind your belly button fluff on 2003-05-08 08:14 [#00689442]

I think he sounds welsh. He does have a bit of a mish mash
of acents, but in some interviews there is a definate welsh
twang !

Then again, Yavo thinks I sound English but everyone I speak
to on the phone in work can tell I'm welsh straight away.
