Grammar Ranger hats ON! I could understand the abuse of "then", if it was mostly by foreigners. I just don't believe for a second that you English speaking (typing) people don't know the difference between "then" and "than". GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER FFS! PS. Maybe it's not that common. The worst one still is "would of". I just can't get over it. It's like the ultimate in retarded grammar when you start substituting words based on what it sounds like. "Howlow! Howardyou?" For the record, it is "would have" or "would've". The latter is probably causing the big confusion. |
