What's wrong with "thAn"?

Grammar Ranger hats ON!

I could understand the abuse of "then", if it was mostly by
foreigners. I just don't believe for a second that you
English speaking (typing) people don't know the difference
between "then" and "than". GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER FFS!

PS. For the record, I was never a member of =GR= Grammar
Rangers (AQ2 clan).

heh

Ultravsitor thread ..pick any lengthier topic and you'll see
one or two. It's just something I've noticed ever since I
started using the net in 98, along with the other famous
fuck ups. Like the one you mention.

GET IT, mofo!!

it has the right dimensions, you just need to downsize it to
about 34%, if I remember correctly.

What about lay/lie/laid (etc.)? No one gets those and it
bothers no one.

Maybe it's not that common. The worst one still is "would
of".

I just can't get over it. It's like the ultimate in retarded
grammar when you start substituting words based on what it
sounds like.

"Howlow! Howardyou?"

For the record, it is "would have" or "would've". The latter
is probably causing the big confusion.

One that I find particularly annoying is "alot". Another is
when People Randomly capitalise Words.

dunno, im not bothered by little things like 'alot'

the one I do find the most annoying is
there/their/they're... I think this has to be the most
rampantly screwed up.

"I am honored to accept the grammer ranger trophy."

"It's grammar. Give me back that trophy!" *snag*

And that was how, on that fateful april day, that w M w
forever lost his chance to win first place in the grammer
ranger competition. Or something.

horse, how about random lowercase? Capitalizing the first
word of every sentence is kinda retarded and I drop it all
the time. But then again, having a reason to do something
never seems to correlate with having the right..

Insane amounts of exclamation marks !!!!!!! <--with a
retarded space before the first mark !!!!!!!

One exclamation mark actually has more impact "than" five!

See?
