What's your favourite track on One Word Extinguisher?

For me, it's track 23 (unnamed)... I love the
voice-manipulation...

btw: is Beans (the artist from warp, not the things that
grown in fields that I can get in cans...) any good?

Detchibe

Or maybe Choking You

Perhaps even Busy Signal

probably the title track (gotta love that tuba bass line)

but it runs into stiff competition from the Dabrye track,
the Daedelus track, choking you, perverted undertone, and
detchibe... which is why the album is so goddamn sweet... if
i were to make a best of 2003 comp (which i actually am)
anyone of those tracks could easily make it on...

Ah, I can't keep all those tracks straight.. but it's prolly
Detchibe or the title track.. and then 9 is great too.

I have only heard Beans on tour with Prefuse.. not the
records. but from what I can tell he's alright. I didn't
like him at all the first time, but the second time I was
quite impressed with both the ideas and his AMAZING skill at
live lyric recitation.. he spits out words rapid fire for
extended periods like nobody's business over some pretty
unconventional beats. Not life changing, but interesting.

for me OWE is much less an album comprised of individual
tracks than it is one large work. that's like asking which
brush stroke is your favorite in van gogh's starry night.
well, i guess it's not actually like that, but maybe you get
my point?

beans is pretty good. i strongly recommend the track
'crevice' off his new album; that track just gets me for
some reason.
