hehe this might seem a strange thing to post given that I have announced I am 'leaving the board' (not that old one :P) on 9999 points...but...the board just isn't what it used to be. In the past I have taken an active part in childish bahaviour 'in the name of a laugh' but I think certain peoples recent behaviour is ruining what is a very good board. I enjoy light hearted banter, even the odd serious exchange but I don't enjoy the nonsense topics that have been springing up. I think they are ruining the board. I have had a number of major things happening to me personally so maybe it is just my interpretation that has changed. Some of you might think this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Especially given some of my past posts...and it would probably be a fair comment. But in my nine thousand and something posts here I think I have started maybe 3 or 4 topics that I shouldn't (everyone has there weak moments :P) Anyway. This isn't a goodbye thread (they are too fucking cheesy :), it's just me getting some shit off my brain. I've got to move on and that means major changes. I hope Phobia, and the others involved with the running of the site, continue to provide a place that means so much to so many people and I wish everyone the best for the future in whatever you choose to do and blah blah blah...I am waffling too much and drunk :D |

ecnadniarb ---i know what you mean, your a great person, your here quite often, as am i, im usally on the board cause im at work (now im trying to d/l some fo pauls songs) i hope that you have a great and successfull life, outside the messageboard, this board isnt life, its just a great way to find out information and meet great people. about the childish nature of the board..........we all like to have fun and ssometimes, to often people here forget what this board is about. I agree. I am quite new here and all I ever read is how it's not as good as it was or how people have got "shit in their lives" to get on with and can't come in anymore. But in amongst the much wringing of hands, this still is the best place to read, discuss and learn about my favourite subject. I like it here and am willing to pay up for a proper membership, but if it's going to be, as the smuggler of nobs says, some bad teen drama, I may not bother. I have just run the following data through my computer: Xltronic is an electronic music mb. Electronic music isn't as good as it was. Music mb not as good as it was. Oh well. |

people should be banned for posting nonsense threads, nonsense threads are for me threads with info that's not related to (electronic) music, (Not all good music is electronic imo). I became a member of this mb to talk to other people who are also into (electronic) music, to share info/ opinions/idea's about music and eachother's music, cause most of us do make music, i don't say we are the music makers, cause that's an other mb. imo this is a great board, people know eachother and mostly love eachother for one good reason: sharing the same love for electronic music. Hello, did you know my face is falling off due to "fuck this" syndrome. I said in my first post in this shitty boring as fuck topic that I am guilty of everything I am moaning about (probably one of the most guilty). But I realised that what I do has a negative effect on the board. promo got banned...and while I still can't stand the fucker, I realised that I was equally as guilty of stuff as him, he just responded the way any lame fuckwit would and made a stupid thread about it.
