In my experience Sennheisers sound great but break easily

Yeah, they are a bit fragile, which is a shame. In their
favour, on a lot of models you can replace most of the bits,
so if they do break, it's not the end of the world.

Generally great quality sound for how much they cost.

<---

Wired Senn HD570s, have had em over a year, no problems
(dropped repeatedly, etc).

Wireless Senn RS65s, sleep with them all the time, I wake up
and I am sleeping on them or I somehow threw them off my
head-onto the floor in my sleep.

Had those well over 2 years, still holding up great.

Quality is top notch, enjoy your purchase, mate.

Man...you wake up while you are still sleeping on them.
That is amazing. How long are you awake before you actually
stop sleeping on them?

The HD-595's are a good buy, from what I've read. If you
have a headphone amp, that is.

what is a headphone of more durability of equal sound
quality?

i had a pair and they were too much, too big, too expensive,
too much - got rid of em

Well, the Sony V6 or MDR-7506 are the most durable phones
I've ever used, and they have sound quality that is near the
HD595. Plus they are super efficient so you don't need a
headphones amplifier.

A lot of recording engineers use them. They are my favorite
headphone that I own, and I own a few more expensive pairs.

You can find 'em for $70 to $100.

I wouldn't worry about it. They are supposed to be excellent
(almost as good as the HD600 and HD650).

a friend broke his sennheisers cause he had them in his bag
and later tried to put couple of vodka buttles in it too.
now these sennheisers are broken, yeah, they're made of
shitty plastic.
