This one is really brilliant!

Steve Reich is one of my alltime faves.

To hear him (and his musicians) live is incredible. How can
you play this stuff so accurate!

To download do not use the '.zip link' but the '.mp3 via
flash'.

Mark the track in open window and press download.

The sound quality is quite good and the concert is a
killer!!!!

I've only heard the pieces played at the sinfonietta gig...
6 marimbas was excellent, although my pusher-lovin' friends
didn't like it much :D

Anyone care to throw a "where to start" recommendation my
way?

fuck, my links don't work. How emberrasing!!!!

O.K. in this case, cut and paste has to do:

http://www.archive.org/audio/audio-details-db.php?col
lection=other_minds&collectionid=ReichBerkeleyMuseum.

who is Steve Reich, where to start at and so on:

http://www.stevereich.com

He is a great composer, his early works with tape loops and
delay are truly psychedelic ('It's gonna rain', 'Come out').

To start with is definately 'Music for 18 musicians'. This
is mmmmmmmmmmmh!!!!
