the entire album is a notch less intricate than lp5/ep7/chichlisuite. the first song is quite good. many songs seem like your looking at, say a complex machine assembly line, like some weird cocacola bottling gizmo. It doesn't really seem like music as much as a mechanical process taking place. THis album is mid complexity above envane/anti ep. and below lp5/ep7. Tri rep. is maybe about equal in intricasy, maybe a little more, but I think tri rep is a much better album. |

Indeed tri rep is better, but don't rule out Chiastic. I enjoy it quite a bit. Give it a chance! |

i luv track 4 off chiastic slide. and the whole album for that matter, it's just that towards the end (excepting the last song) the songs tend to get boring after say 5 minutes. the first 4 tracks in a row are stunning, to say the least. |
