Just a quick message just to say! 1. get some fucking hardware! b. get some fucking hardware! 3. forget the cheap weak digital stuff and get some chunky analog sound modules and a mixer, and a studio amp and some nice studio monitor speakers, and a hard disc recorder and some effects units and a sampler and some compression units etc etc d. id probably invest in an audio engineer manual and do a course at university in music tech and audio engineering. all of those pretty little computer packages are shit! from reason to fruity loops! they are made for home musicians and they dont have enough ooomph realy! though that may just be my opinion! |

its realy up to the user but i bet you that if you went to a studio to master your dats, and said that your tracks were all on fruity loops the studio technicians would laugh you out of the building and down the road! as far as software being the future, sequencers maybe but not synths computer created sounds are often realy weak sounding compared to the anolog creations to be gained from external synth modules???? |

dont need a studio if you use hardware all mastering can be done on cumputer easy and if you want em printer in mass amounts, take a CD of WAVs in and they dont need to knwo what you use. i actually went into a fully blown music store and said i use FL and the bloke there said yair that thing is fuckgin marvellous |

Reason fucks Fruityloops in the ass!!! Reason is dope you are so limited with Fruity you cant use anythnig external like helion etc (I still fuck around with it sometimes though) software is aight but you cant get it mastered. Analog is great when it comes to the mix and mastering. |

Hmm. i dunno. It all depends on what you want to do. For me, i find the combination of fruityloops and cooledit wery good, with few limitations. Perhaps you should investigate fruityloops a bit more before saying this.and then again maybe not. you may have i dont know. i might just have feelings for the little program you know.... :) |

um, funkmaster you are missing the point here. the only way to make music is to spend tens of thousands of dollars! so uninstall fruity loops right now and do exactly as dingle berry says. becuase, you know, the only way to make music is to use hardware. so stop having fun and go to university and let them tell you how to make music. thats just the way it is. |

I agree with everyone. Its better for home musicians to clutter their living space with thousands upon thousands of dollars with cumbersome gear that they might want to use in a song or two, acting like a heroine addict when it comes to getting more gear. And you can use VST like hallion with fruityloops. |

im already doing better than i deserve to do and i only use fruity even cell uses fruity on most of his stuff. but im not gonna defend it no more, basically you dudes who wanna take yourself too seriously and wanna spend loads of cash on machines (that you can get for free on software) can go ahead and do it. youre the ones missing out. |
