Work Has The Right To Music

I am sitting in the most comfortable room in my house,
dimly lit with all my dark wooden and leather furniture and
Music Has The Right To Children playing. I am working on a
relatively large one man intranet project at the moment,
building everything from the ground up. I am sleepy but I
am the most chilled I have ever been (drugged or not).
Turquoise Hexagon Sun is playing and I feel happy. :)

Oh yes...I meant to ask what do you all listen to while you
work?

I am asleep.

i can't listen to music while i work... well.. except for
when i drive.. which is just the radio because they're so
cheap they don't have a cd player... but usually the radio
makes my ehad go numb so i listen to nothing.

When i am working, on endless web projects or infinite
redesigns, i have a playlist that i can rely on to see me
through - they key tracks are:-

Infosphere - B12 (my all time fave electronic sound makers)
Raphael - Carla Brundi (my all time fave erotic french
track)
Portreath Harbour (an all time fave RDJ track)
Kodomotachi - Susumu Yokota (my all time fave track)
Kheprit - The Black Dog
Stone in focus - Aphex Twin
Dry Retch - Donnacha Costello
Bronchusevenmx24 - Autechre
Bio Dimension - B12
Solitude - Redcell
Too Young - Phoenix
A dream of love - Ultra Vivid Scene
Regulate - Warren G and Nate Dogg ("now they're dropping and
yelling / it's a tad bit late")
Iketa - Polyogon Window
Single Life - Cameo
Moonshiner - Cat Power

I don't know if this mix would work for everyone. However it
has lubed me through some very hard times of late.

I get to the stage where stress becomes apathy and I no
longer worry about anything. It is a sort of surreal
feeling, but not altogether unpleasent...plus it stops me
getting depressed.

I don't personally...

But we have this guy at work, a musician, who plays these
tapes on this little tape recorder (Yes! Machines like that
still exist!). Nothing electronic, more in vein of
bluegrass, old country and folk (none of that alt-country
crap thank goodness). Stuff like anywhere from Johnny Cash
to AC/DC.

Really cool guy. :)

I always listen to music at work. I would hate having a job
where I deal with customers because they would interrupt my
music :|

I'm very productive when listening to µ-ziq, i've found.
It's good background music for designing.
