Best Aphex track ever...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-12-22 16:14 [#00063543]

Just name ONE.

Vordhosbn.

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-12-22 16:14 [#00063544]

If you can't name one, don't say anything.

Dave_K from Canada on 2001-12-22 16:21 [#00063550]

R2D2!

Frothbottom from New York on 2001-12-22 16:53 [#00063557]

Alberto balsalm...maybe moo kid...or nanou. I dunno, there
are so many great tracks to choose from...

Frothbottom from New York on 2001-12-22 16:54 [#00063558]

those three tracks are kinda simalar, so I guess that counts
as one.

/-T|K|R-\ from the start on 2001-12-22 16:57 [#00063559]

his whole bag.
hope this helps

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-12-22 17:02 [#00063560]

one hey, and best ever? Damn that's hard... ummm, Heliosphan
or Alberto Balsalm... it's hard for me to pick one...

aperson on 2001-12-22 17:43 [#00063567]

PEEK 824545201

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-12-22 18:05 [#00063571]

yeah I love that song... I was gonna say something like Corn
Mouth, or Peek, cause I'm obsessed with the RDJ album now...
but I wouldn't call them best Aphex Twin songs ever cause
they're so damn short... but they are all excellent from
that album...

The_Funkmaster from Newfoundland, Canada on 2001-12-22 18:11 [#00063572]

seriously though, take a song like Corn Mouth which is only
like 2 minutes or so long... there is so much music jammed
into that 2 minutes, it's not funny... amazing stuff...

> on 2001-12-22 18:15 [#00063573]

Man there r so many im listning 2 start as u mean to go on
and thats pretty damn good !!

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-22 18:26 [#00063574]

Alberto Balsalm.

I like Vordhosbn but I don't think it's even the best track
on Drukqs anymore...I used to. The first 45 seconds of it
are amazing..and then it just sort of gets predictable...

Ophecks from Nova Scotia on 2001-12-22 18:37 [#00063577]

Actually, I agree on Vord. It loses steam... but the first
little bit takes my breath away...

Cornish Acid MAY get my vote...

aperson on 2001-12-22 19:00 [#00063581]

I like cornish acid a lot. But PEEK, when it slips into that
sublime synth at 0:44 it just gets me going, probably the
coolest thing I've ever heard.

Pusher of the Square from mars on 2001-12-22 19:06 [#00063582]

hmm...i wouldnt categorise my trx into best n worse, i just
feel their different...although...much crap i have released
muhahahaaaa....
but i have a lot of trax that are special to me, wich i made
for important people in my life, n ill be releasing them
later on
rephlex records, cuz i don't care about warp these
days....as an example, i made a chilled solemn track
containing samples by gandhi and dalai lama n im planning to
send it to the old bugger and ask his opinion...
so i'm not completely dead yet, at least prodution-wise.....

Caserol Joe the Chubby on 2001-12-24 07:03 [#00063860]

can't say it's the best track he's made by any means, but
'on' is so powerful. the first moments of it are so
incredibly moving. to bad it becomes a yawn pretty damn
quick.

huh from newmexico on 2001-12-24 07:10 [#00063862]

Xanatos from NYC on 2001-12-26 06:30 [#00064111]

interesting how varying people's responses are.

I agree with however said girl/boy song is aphex in a
nutshell, it is.

Jarworski from Wales on 2001-12-27 03:02 [#00064261]

Changed my mind

it's 4 and cock/ver 10

but Alberto is lagging behind

way behind

it, like a lot Aphex's tracks, suggests a good track instead
of playing u one, but it's just too sporadic
