Uplifting tracks

You know the ones that make you feel on top of the world,
like life is ok, like the sun is great, give you real calm
and peace, etc etc blah blah blah.

The notes in Jega 'Naem' damn they are mighty fine.
Fucking sweet track and very very uplifting!

among others:

Martina Topley-Bird - Need One
Martina Topley-Bird - I Still Feel
Fluke - Blue Sky
Ken Ishii - Future Is What We Are
Ken Ishii - Sleeping Madness
Morcheeba - The Sea
Morcheeba - Big Calm
FSOL/Amorphous Androgynous - The Mello Hippo Diso Show
Radiohead - The Bends (somewhat)
U2 - Do You Feel Loved
lots of Oasis tracks too : )

(yes, some people might want to scream and vomit in disgust,
but i really like some Oasis and some U2! ^^)

since english isn't my natural language, it's more because
of the music than the lyrics, that i find some songs
uplifting... and of course just because i find them
uplifting, won't mean everyone does. maybe you'll just find
them annoying. bah.

Fennesz- Surf
all the good tracks on saw 85 92 (don't have time to
specify, but there are several)

A lot of Global Goon ones actually...but there are quite a
few different tracks on different albums I listen to for
arious uplifting needs. And surprise, surprise not all of
them are electronic...

That’s a good point, I just assumed that this question was
limited to IDM tracks.

My all time favourite uplifting track, outside of the
Electronic genre, has to be 'Love At First Sight' by Kylie
Minogue.

I don't think it has anything to do with the lyrics or what
the song is actually about, it is just the way it is sung
and the 'uplifting' style :)

you know nene means something like "our little boy" in the
cuban language. I dont know if its a specific cuban thing or
what, but I'm pretty sure it is.

as for a uplifting track-I would have to go with my favorite
song. donkey Rhubarb-it makes me smile :>

And also that song one of you guys made for a contest 143.

The beginning of Lift Your Skinny Fists... by GY!BE is
probably the most uplifting piece of music I've ever heard.

afxnumb: that's quite a coincidence. the nickname nene (or
nay-nay) comes from my mom. it's short for nathan.
