im trying to get this to work, but it keeps downloading a
.sitx file (note the "x"), and it won't open that
file/doesn't know what to open it with. when i try to change
it to .sit it tells me i can't open it, and to obtain more
info about the file. anyone else get this problem? (i have
osX 10.1.5)

you need the latest version of Stuffit Expander mate

sitx is a new format, better compression

the latest version is 8.02 as far as i know
