I'm picky about my piano stuff... most of the stuff on Druks
I really didn't like. So don't take it personally. I like
the background stuff working with the piano, the sounds you
add and the reverb, the changes, the little tonal squeel
thing, that's all really cool. Not a fan of the piano line
for the most part, there are parts... a little before the
half mark for example, before the vocal type sound, which I
like.

I really like what you did with the reverb, panning it to
the side, very nice. Makes it feel like you're in some weird
compliacted concert hall. That's an awesome effect, remember
how you did that and reuse it.

Sorry I couldn't be more help... maybe try different piano
sounds and see how it's different? (assuming it was MIDI)
Might be interesting... or change the piano sound from part
to part.... oooh... gonna work that into a piece, that's a
good idea... *sproing*

more reverb. you could make it sound like that Drukqs track,
the name of which I cannot remember.

on a different note, where I don't tell you what to do: I
like the general feel of it. Sounds like me whenever I play
around with my synth... it always comes out more or less
like this.

aight thanks

sanguine: the reverb is pretty fancy aint it :) works great
on hifi headphones... its ok if you dont like it (the piano
line), but your idea of changing the sounds troughout is
pretty good, might do that a bit.. the sound is my keyboard
with only 1 piano preset so ill just morph the fx all the
time

drunken mastah: i already turned down the reverb a bit.. i
didnt want it to sound like one big reverby piano soup, and
im not too keen on the reverb effects on drunkqs

corticalstim: not a clue. i just play random things, cut out
the crappy parts and rearrange it... i took piano lessons
for .. 5 years (?..) but i dont know shit about keys, scales
and whatsnot.

I'm self-taught on piano, and I'll tell you: pratice chords
every day! it will improve the speed and accuracy at which
you can move your fingers up and down the piano. Also: the
pressure and the intervals will eventually become more
correct.

:P all i have is a lousy midi keyboard nowadays, so pressure
is out of the game anyways

:( i want a real piano..
