the most plausible bit they brought up was the flag blowing
around. i guess by having no atmosphere, there would be no
wind on the moon. however, i feel that because of the
decreased gravity, something light as a flag will have a
tendency to keep flapping and moving from being placed into
the dirt.

I think outer space is a lie - the stars are small
electrical lights placed in a rotating shell of black glass
around the earth.

The reason no one could go to the moon is it is just a
picture painted on the glass! Why do you think the same side
of the moon is always facing the earth? There is no other
side!

The final clue is the man in the moon - a joke placed into
the moon painting by the man who painted it there, one Henry
Schwartz of Hackensack, New Jersey.

i thought the idea that it was 2001 that showed the nasa
how to stage a moon landing was great :D

According to CBC's website [http://www.cbc.ca]:

"During an interview with Stanley Kubrick's widow an
extraordinary story came to light. She claims Kubrick and
other Hollywood producers were recruited to help the U.S.
win the high stakes race to the moon."

Is that a fact?
When I think of CBC, I think of "The Kids in The Hall".
Thoose funny Canadians.

That Kubrick story was made up to ridicule the conspiracy
theorists and apparently it worked because they took the
bait.

The version I read was that it was originally published on
internet as a joke (of the day), and then some people
thought it made sense.

Don't question!

"I'm the commander - see, I don't need to explain - I don't
need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting
thing about being the President. Maybe somebody needs to
explain to me why they say something, but I don't feel like
I owe anybody an explanation."

- George W. Bush, Washington Post, 11-19-02

"We need to execute people like John Walker in order to
physically intimidate liberals, by making them realize that
they can be killed, too. Otherwise, they will turn out to be
outright traitors."

- Ann Coulter, at the Conservative Political Action
Conference, 02-26-02

watch yourself boy!

See? Yeah. You ain't even worth bothering their heads
about.

"Why should we hear about body bags and deaths and how
many, what day it's gonna happen? It's not relevant. So why
should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that?"

- Barbara Bush, said on 'Good Morning America' the day
before the Iraq war started, New York Times, 01-13-03

mapp you are still the quote king...

I saw a special on discovery or something a while back that
was investigating the possibility of the moon landing being
fake.. and I don't remember any of the points they brought
up besides the flag flapping, but I do recall being
thoroughly convinced at the end of the program that
the landing was indeed fake. Not to say that we never went
to the moon, but the amount of pressure on NASA to beat the
russians might have caused them to have victory at any cost
(even if it meant faking it) and worry about actually
getting to the moon later.
