What a beautiful track, it deserves a name for being this good. It give me an impression of a large open, but slightly cold and empty space. Perhaps a cave dimly lit by glowing fungus in shallow pools? It seems to end to soon for me, even though it is 4.30 it seems shorter. Another great track to add to the collection! |

Very old skool ambient feel to it. Reminds me of Global Communications/Ozrics/Mu-Ziq. Sounds pro but at the mo I'm not totally feeling it. This is very different from your usual style as I recall. Yeah its nice but for some reason I'm not able to get into it at the mo. |

wow. yeah, i'm just listening to it on my crumby trash-o speakers on this work computer (i stole some from another cube. mua haha), but it sounds fantastic, yes. i'll have to give it a proper listen when i get home. nicely done, guy! |

nbsmglr, search for plaidzebra on xltronic, there was a recent thread for a track called "electric lucifer" (house with a gauzy web of guitar and bass) and another for a track called "abandoned house" (hypnotic tech-house in 7/8). give me a post in the threads with your thoughts if you get a chance to listen. looking forward to checking yr track, as always. |

ok, i was impatient and downloaded on my 28kbps modem. this seems to have a very different sound from a lot of your other stuff. i love the ambience and lilting melody vaporized by the filters, as well as the chilled beats. maybe the bassline could be given a little more depth, and i'd like to hear a longer and subtler conclusion. it sounds like the track is 90-95% done, but needs a little tweaking, some minor melodic elaborations. overall, i like it a lot, at the risk of repeating myself your work is far better than most amateur electronic music i've heard (with the broadband connection at work i've been sampling quite a bit), and this track is no exception. if you do refine this track further, be sure to post the update. incidentally, my wife gives your track very high marks as well. |

i guess by "subtler conclusion" i'm thinking a gentle breakdown instead of the soft fade, which is more "here's how i would do it..." than a criticism. |

Very well done track, but I think the percussion let it down a little bit. It might be because it's quite low in the mix, but it doesn't seem to have much of a presence. Everything else is spot-on though :) |

as said, pretty damn nice melody and love the pads too. Overall i really quite like it, at first i didnt really like the drums but they have grown on me. really like this track :) |

thnx for listening ppl plaid ill find them or go on your zebox also it was a lazy fade because of the zebox file limit re drums and the bass: the levels are crap because im using a really bassy set of headphone so i cant get the levels right atm i didnt want a wash of one level |

yeah, i forgot about the zebox limit. now that you say that, i can easily believe that the track was mixed on headphones, which rarely works out. post it again after the final mix (even if you have to keep the lazy fade). |
