i have rarely posted my own music - these are short samples
from my new album. if you like NOISE or at least won't yell
at me because it's too loud and has no rhythm, please
listen. i would appreciate comments/suggestions very much.
again, this is loud, sequenced, harsh noise - be cool.

01. Béatrice (CLIP)
05. Innamedley (CLIP)
08. Kim Gordon '92 (CLIP)

thanks for your time

I don't like noise but i listened anyway :)

Did you know that if you put all 3 in a playlist to play one
after the other they blend perfectly!

'Kim Gordon '92 (CLIP) ' would be my favourite of the three
if I liked any of them. Do you do anyother styles of music,
anything else online? Cheers.

Me either I'm not big on noise, especially when I want to go
to sleep that is.

well, let's see...

all are decent, but...

need more layers.

try layering the first one over either of the other two like
one right channel one left channel merzbow style.

or go all 3 at once and see how that sounds.

thanks, jazembo! i do lots of different styles of music,
including a lot of non-electronic stuff. the remix i
contributed to xltvibes 6 sounds like a lot of the
electronic music i've been doing recently. i have a remix
page here. i also work in a lot of different
bands/projects with different people, most of which you can
check out on planetariumrecords.com

i stuck kim gordon on media player and beatrice on winamp
and it fucking rocks when you start winamp and then media
player anytime after. set both to loop and it rules big
time.

then i put inna on quicktime and this is the best thing i've
heard in ages.

that's a good point, knobcheese. some of the songs get very
dense at other points where there are lots of layers, but it
isn't represented well in these clips. also, a lot of times
when you have too many of these noise layers it sounds very
chaotic, which can be good, but i was going for a different
sound where the songs are dynamic and choppy and sound more
like a collage. i wanted to make the noise fragments more
audible rather than drone or hiss for long periods of time,
which is how my first noise album sounded.

AWESOME! that's a great method of playing these!

i tried starting them in 20 second intervals for a like "in
the round" feel. but it sounds better if you start them
randomly staggered.

"01. Béatrice (CLIP)" sounds like the intro to a track and
I feel would work well in that context. It would work well
as an intro but to have a whole track of just noise wouldn't
do it for me.

it is indeed the first minute of the track, but the entire
album is pure noise as you hear it. actually, there is one
beat in a song towards the end of the album, but that's it.
thanks for listening, though!

lot of the members here!

I used to like noise, but I don't listen any more. There's a
couple of reasons for this, firstly it's just too harsh for
me now. Maybe I'm getting old ;)

Secondly, seeing I make noise music myself from time to time
I think it's best to diassociate myself from other people's
noise. I don't want to be influenced by other people's
stuff. Too much IDM is produced by people who listen to IDM
all day and that's what leads to a million medicore Autechre
wannabes.
