i have a lot of relatives who live all over france that i've never met or haven't seen since i was an infant. so this trip will be financially good... won't have to stay in hostils and stuff. and ill be able to stay all over... paris, south of france.. on the coast. eep! i can't wait. i haven't been out of canada for sooo very long. |

bretagne has some really nice feeling to it, though it can get boring i guess, i have a special attraction for it since i go there often for summer holidays... if you know the right spots you can find great beaches without many people, ker emma is wonderful... the food is also very good, be sure to try and find a good "crêperie" to eat galettes (it's translated as pancakes in the dictionary but it's nothing to do with pancakes as i know them - it's very thin and crispy (the good ones are ^^) and you fill it with whatever you like) : ) |

i've been in finistère, morbihan, and... hmm i don't remember, ille-et-vilaine maybe, côtes d'armor... - finistère is my favourite from what i know from it! (but it's quite large, it's even divided in north finistère and south finistère) anyway it's a good place for the feeling, the sea and all but maybe you won't like it if you aren't used to it, and it's not a very "active" region... and don't except big cities where you can go shopping... (that's the thing i miss when i go there usually.) i live in alsace, north eastern france very near germany... it's a very nice region too! but i hate the local food, and it's always full of tourists and old people. (btw nothing to do with tourism but the current french government is terrible.) |
