Fat of the Land has aged terribly.
Jilted Generation still sounds fresh.

Ha, to me it's exactly vice-versa. Well I still really like their first 2 albums, but they sound really dated to me (like the videos to Out of Space, One Love), while Fat of the Land sounds just as kick-ass as the first day I heard it.

It's the mishmash of their older style with the more punky elements that doesn't sit with me any more, especially those ridiculous vocals. The underlying elements are still very tight and it's rightly regarded as an important album. Diesel Power to Mindfields is a great run and the B-sides from that era are fucking great.
In the last few years I've listened to Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned more regularly so what do I know?
Jilted Generation is just a cohesive experience it's pretty much timeless for me and Experience is just unmatched. First thing I ever bought on CD and I'm on my like 5th or 6th copy now.

Yeah their first two are sweet, but sound so dated now. This one, much less so
For the longest time I thought SL2's Ragga Tip was some obscure Prodigy B-side from that era

I remember when first watching the Firestarter music video, the track was nutz.
It was also one of the first music videos I had on my computer, in like 160x120 or someshit... along with Ash's Kung Fu, which was a whooopping 9MB.
Anyway, The Fat Of The Land is still good. After all these years, I'm maybe feeling Narayan the most nowadays.

Girls from Always Outnumbered is basically just a remix of one of the best 80's tunes ever to come out of the UK. Can't post a link at the minute, posting from a smartphone using bus WiFi for TV first time ever. Feels seedy
