I heard it will have some young tosser who can't act in it,
terrible dialogue, some bozo called Wank Kenobi (or
something), and will be a shoddily-made, badly-directed,
fist-handedly symbolic, shambolic pile of crap made by that
famed bad director, George Lucas! I, for one, won't be
spending good money to go see it! I'm gonna go watch The
Lion King XV: When Good Lions Do Bad Things! Sound much
better!

I t seems Peter Jackson has eclipsed Lucas with series of
epics. At least Jackson doesn't seem so concerned with
filling his bank accounts via peddling merchandise to
kiddies. In fact, mercahndise is quite minimal considering
the film's popularity.

Episode IV was in fact released in 1977, I'm sure you'll
find if you check your facts :P

i think you'll find that's episode 3.

episode 7 comes after 'jedi' and, contrary to popular
belief, lucas hasn't come up with a story for it. there are
a number of unnoficial sequel books, but jedi really is the
end.

yes, I think it will suck... I will see it most likely, but
these are ruining the quality of the originals as far as I'm
concerned... episode 1 was enjoyable, but mostly because of
the trip of seeing a star wars movie in theatre... they're
really pretty crappy!

well you can't blame Jackson for the scope of LOTR... it's
based on the books, so whether you like the movies really
depends on how you like the books I guess... well how you
like the story anyways... but the star wars story is written
by Lucas, so you know... he really should've left it with
the originals as far as I'm concerned... but he seems like a
guy that likes to rest on his laurels and make as much money
from that stuff as he can... so, adding some new Star Wars
movies would be a good investment!... but the movies suck!
