ok, guitar bands and me generally don't get along well at
all, but this is one gorgeous gem of an album,.. he's a
very good lyricist, too -- not in the sense that you could
take the lyrics and read them as standalone poems, but in
the sense that his various vocal inflections and
guitar-playing illuminate certain phrases very beautifully.
i find it impossible to listen to this album without
flinging myself into all these ridiculous air-guitar swoons.

They are quite good. They did a good take of Neil Young's
Cortez the Killer. Still can't beat the original though.
