Heh... My new track

Right, right, I know, I am a cunt. I am gone for months and
then I come here just to post a link to my new tune... Yeah,
sorry people, I have been extremely busy here and no time to
hang out with my xltronic pals and so on...

Today is the same, I have a meeting in a couple of minutes,
but thought that some of you might like to have a listen and
tell me their HONEST opinions on mi new tune...

It's a four to the floor affair, 129 BPM, floorcleaner type
of thing. This is the first real "techno" track I have made
(well, if "Classics" is techno....), although I have made
4/4 stuff before, but it was mostly noise with repetitive
patterns... (check www.ren-ga.com for some killer visuals
accompanied by my crappy music). This one is different....

Anyway, I should cut the crap and let you hear it. It's
about 5 MB, so... Any comments will be appreciated very
much, because I am still in two minds whether this thing is
of any worth or absolute shite. Thank you...

the drums, could do with some changes

ill listen to it some more maybe itll grow on me

I think this is a very interesting and danceable beat, kind
of a grinding one, I like the shuffliness of it
those little cricket noises are pretty choice too, love
cricket music
its an abrasive tune, but good, I would be caught flailing
to it

I'm digging it. very dark feel to it. The beat is like
soldiers marching to battle or something. Has a really
industrial hardcore groove. I can't really criticise it as i
have only heard it once. It's a decent track though. I
wouldn't like to hear it during a bad trip, which is usually
a good thing.

hi meho

you might want to get in touch with laibach...they seem to
be into this sort of stuff now. maybe they'll dump umek...

Heh, cheers to bruce... The track contains Godflesh samples,
hence the abrasibve feel...

Thanks to MC_303_beatz for linking it up (I never succeeded
in making html work here) and for the comments... I tried to
make it hard AND groovy at the same time...

Tolstoyed, my man!!!!!! Still have to get in touch with you
about those trades... Hehe, I have seen Laibach live the
other week here and the best part of the show actually were
Umek's beats.. To a certain extent, it influenced this track
as well...

sure hehe, when ever you get the time. im completing (well,
trying to more like it) my catalogue and i'll send you the
list and you can see if there's something that you might
like...
if i remember right you were interested in those vsnares
live sets, but i kind of forhot about it heh. anyway i send
some of those to luka (he might not know why i send him
those hehe) the other day so if you two are in touch he
could pass them to you.
but perhaps your taste changed to better and you outgrown
snares now :)

Ney there, nano, nice to see YOU are alive as well. You
moved to Japan?

Tolstoyed: Yeah I am still interested in those Snares... I
am afraid I haven't outgrown them... I get younger every
day...

Uh, you sent the package to Luka? I'll tell him. Why did you
do it?

Yes I like this track a lot. Lovely rhythmic vibe. Really
sweet analogue techno feel with those lovely crisp claps.
Like a mix of Plastikman and Aphex. Great vibe. Great job!

Heh, Promo, thanks. You are overdoing it a little
(Plastikman and Aphex? I wish I could come close to them,
heh) but I am glad you liked it.

A track is a track. I can't force myself to like something
but I did. It was kinda a mix of the two but just had a
great vibe.

"Uh, you sent the package to Luka? I'll tell him. Why did
you
do it? "

haha, why...maybe cuz he kindly asked me :)
he was after some film which i happened to have, but then
not to only send that one piece i included some music (which
he asked for as well - you might be interested too actually,
it was that time hunter release by merzbow) and since there
was space left i remembered of you and put some of those
snares sets as well - i was in a hurry (as always) so im not
sure what did i send...but as i said im going to complete my
catalogue one of these days and you can see if there's
something that may interest you.

an interesting track, I like the dark menacing feeling from
it. It was a bit too long perhaps, or maybe it was the
repetative beats that made it seem long. It there any more
of your music online?

Ah, Tolstoyed, that explains it. he got the package, I got
an email from him this morning... Takeshi, eh? Very
nice!!!!! Also, that Timehunter thingy. I was getting ready
to ask you about it... You are a star, Tolstoyed!!!

Spikee: apparently the server went down for whatever reason,
you may try downloading it again now.... Heh.

Jazembo: check out www.ren-ga.com, the guy who hosted that
track has an online gallery there (you'll need the latest
Flash installed) and the visuals are very impressive and are
accompanied by my music, but it is quite different from what
you have heard here...
