i used that program a month ago....had some cool ones, but i
don't remember where i got them right now (at work).

caution: don't try to change itunes skins. if you do be
careful, it crashed my imac!

oh right, i'm not using it again because of the crash. i
don't really want to mess stuff up again.

i've got that for my 9.22 bootup :)

ShapeShifter is pretty much the same functionality as
Kaleidoscope though. i don't understand why they didn't make
a version of OS X. seems pretty weird that they never
continued it

ShapeShifter doesn't change iTunes skins.

what program did you use to change the iTunes?

hmm....i guess it wasn't that program! real similar
though...i dunno, it had something that let you change skins
for itunes, but like i said, messed me up. also like i said,
i'm at work and i don't remember the name of the program so
the usefulness of this post is zero.

i think i know which program you mean, but i can't remember
what it's called

i used something that changes the skin of QuickTime and
iTunes, and it worked for me though :)

yeah it's not expensive, but *ahem* i'm in college. i was
thinking about getting it back in december, but the price
was even higher then. soon, though. soon.

have you guys seen the dock separaters? they're little blank
icons you can drag to the dock to keep your progs a bit
easier to see: here.

that's actually one of the sites that has gui themes, but
only for osX 10.2 +

i don't use the dock for much, i just keep apps there, but i
mainly use FruitMenu for my apps

but thanks for the tip

yeah Max Themes is the best site for themes, he's got really
good stuff on there

i'm using shapeshifter and the only really good one I found
was "milk". The best ones seem to be made by a guy called
Max i think. Anyway milk is the one i'm using at the moment
and i don't think i'll be changing it any time soon, goes
realy well with my new imac :)

yes, that one is nice. nice and white. like milk. hence
"milk." i tell ya i really enjoyed those themes but i'm
sorta paranoid about screwing up my computer again.

ShapeShifter doens't modify system files
so you should be okay

i'm not sure if it'll work with you'r version of OS X though
