rival city of nijmegen, mainly due to the legendary soccer matches between NEC and VITESSE. Arnhem is a medium sized ugly city with unfriendly people living in it. It does however have lots of nice shops, as well as a fantastic zoo, of which you already know. My sis lives there now and she doesnt seem to hate it that much, but she's only been there for a few months now. |

-arnhem is close to the national park (the Veluwe). which is nice if you want to go for a walk. -the large river is the rhine. -the arnhem dialect some people speak sounds pretty aggressive, even when they're trying to be nice ("WA HEP JUN MOOI' TRUI AN!!!!") -arnhem is (as far as i know) the only city which has this kind of weird electric busses as public transport called trollybus. they are all blue. |
