i just got this for my Mac

oh my god

it's the professional edition, with EVERYTHING!

it's eating up a hefty 1.8GB on my hard drive, but it's
worth it!!

anyone else got this too?

It is a hefty 1.8Gb and it abuses children.

yeah cs is great, way better than previous versions. Much
more user friendly, especially the feature in full screen
mode where you can move the image anywhere.

the premium edition is 1.8GB - the one i have ;) the
standard is 1.3GB

but what do you expect? it's the FULL adobe suite of design
and web applications, it's gonna be big :)

everything
i used to have KPT3 and KPT6 as well as a lot of other
plugins when i was running microshite on my old pc.....used
to use Paint Shop Pro back in the day, and i miss my KPT

HDTV and whatnot uses slightly rectangular pixels.

cs can import RAW data from digital cameras, which could be
nice if you've got a higher end jobby. but, i've heard it's
kinda bloated. and photoshop is already a beast.

plus, not that it's a huge deal, but adobe is in
big brother's pocket now.

ah i didn't know that about HDTV :) thanks

well, it's only bloated if you install the whole suite, like
I said - what do you expect from 6 full version design
applications? You do have the option to selectivly install.

i didn't know about the censorship thing either! Bloody
hell. Anyways, if people wanna copy bank notes, they can
always use Photoshop 7 ;)
