That's the melody I got for "to cure a weakling child" track
6 on richard d james album, too bad the multiple parts don't
line up in columns since letters are bigger than "-"'s. I
think it's mostly right, but it's hard to tell (for me).

put that data in whatever music software you use and it
should work, I did it and it sounds similar except I used
crappy sounds. That melody he made is so thought out, parts
are expanded in time, reversed order, there's so much subtle
detail in it.

yeah, I knew they was music notes... :)

but what's with all the dashes, what do they mean?

m on 2001-12-19 05:09 [#00062384]

the song starts with the first and second line together.
then the third line comes in and last the 4th line, all
playing together.

yeah, that song is a great drill'n bass song, but the melody
is awesome as well... I've always thought that... I also
love the remix on Come to Daddy...

a dash is an time unit with no note. just count it, (tap
your foot to keep rhythm to it) but only put notes where the
notes go.

oh really? That is pretty cool... if I had any equipment to
record piano, I'd play those parts and stick em together to
see what it sounds like... but alas, I don't...
