Downloaded this album this morning. IMO it's way better
than Supermodified, even though I haven't listened to all
tracks yet. Opinions?

i actually prefer supermodified myself... but i do really

I'm not too keen on its jazzy touch myself. I don't have
anything against jazzyness, I mean Tom Jenkinson does it
very well on Ultravisitor, but Supermodified just sounds a
bit too dusty and non-vibrant for my liking.

See my previous post :)

Supermodified has a jazzier sound than OFOW, which relies
more on "typical IDM elements" (if such a thing exists) --->
more vibrant and clearer sound and other funkiness.

You can find a sample of OFOW's 1st track here
(wait for intro to finish, then Jungle >>> IDM). Thanks to

Out from Out Where is my least favorite of Amon Tobin
releases. I do make an exception for Back from Space. I
love that track. But the rest of the album just sounds too
disjointed.

Supermodifed is my favorite, but I like his jazzier older
stuff too. He changed his sound a lot over the years.

listened to bricolage today, really not the quatlity he has
been delivering lately, out from outwherewasn't so good as
supermodified for me
