agree?

it's actually a big beat version of "Hey Hey" by First Moog
Quartet.

when exactly, as musical director, would you have used it in
kill bill?

i think that album is kind of overrated, this track
especially

its certainly far from being the best on the album.
overall i like the record. but i did think some people got
carried away in praising it.
i do love 'ghost writer' as a track though. has a real
summer evening at dusk feel to it..

i don't really know to be honest. for some reason when i
hear it i always think of kill bill. once i get the dvd and
watch it again i might be able to tell you.

i also don't think it's the best track on the album.
ghostwriter, smoke and mirrors, and 2 more dead are all
better.

when i first got the album i liked "the horror" but now i
think its sort of silly and annoying and REALLY doesn't fit
with the rest of the album. my favorite tracks are JUNE,
smoke and mirrors, and good times roll pt. 2.

I know why he wants it in kill bill.. it's a bit similar to
the al hirt green hornet theme which is used in the film
briefly.. ykno when miss vivica fox steps up to uma in the
beginning

actually, i think it's because of the excerpt from quincy
jones' ironside.

My favourites from Deadringer:

Smoke and Mirrors
Good Times Roll Pt.2
Ghostwriter (I agree with acrid about the moany blues
vocals, quite haunting)
Silver Fox
Work
