Koss midprice headphones are the hardest to break of the
major brands. i've got ur-30, they sound okay, and they are
nearly unbreakable.

i usually break the phones by playing to loud or getting
fucked up and dropping them or something. maybe you don't
like to listen loud ( electronic music is meant to be loud).
or don't get fucked up. so i dunno.

yeah i had some koss hedphones but the one ear only works
because my frend turned them up too loud and it blew the one
so i had to cut the wire on the one because i still wanted
to use them and it was all distorted.

my frend aron z broke his 70$ jvs's when he got out of bed
too fast and steped on them :(

Dave_k from Canada on 2001-12-20 04:50 [#00062715]

yeah im hopeing to get a pair for x-mas

Aron? from Canada on 2001-12-20 04:52 [#00062716]

they were jvc, not jvs.

but, yeah that was a sure a downer when i stepped on the ol
headphones.

right now i'm using cheap ass jensen ones, but they seem to
be holding up ok, and they sound remarkibly good.

i snapped the side off my sony's once listening to them in
bed, not too bad though just screwed them back together.
they died recently though, they worked good for almost 8
years but now the left speaker rattles. probably fixable but
i haven't taken them apart yet

You could always try buying speakers and stereo...

I used to use my gameboy headphones with my portable cd
player... damn, they last me for years, before they finally
wore out... and I was pretty rough on em...
