how many of you knows how good is electronic music made in
italy? i'm italian but i discovered it pretty late anyway
now i'm sure it's really great music as good as music made
in U.K. or other countries (sometime better too).

thanks to:

Marco Passarani
Bochum Welt
D'Arcangelo' brothers
Lory D
Mat101 / Jolly music
etc... etc...

btw: forget about Gigi D'Agostino...

most countries have more good music than what people outside
of those countries know.

you're not special if that's what you think! HAHA!

he's been with rephlex for too long :)

he's from rome, and last year he played at some festival in
rome - it looked like every italian person that came to that
festival came because of lory...they really appreciate him -
and he appreciates the crowd...it was awesome!

haha! so was I. I just don't use emoticons. this makes it
harder to joke on text, but i hate emoticons.

i've heard some italian electronica, but one of the coolest
italian bands i've heard are "the Italian Instabile
Orchestra"

anyway it's a pity who many ppl in this mb never listened
masterpieces as Unspeakable Future Outbreaks or 6 Katun by
Passarani.

i put some mp3 by bochum welt on my site but then i received
a mail from Grant Wilson-Claridge (the boss) who rebuked me,
so i deleted the files (bochum's welt made some stuff for
rephlex).

Italian Instabile orchestra are like the real group, only
they use instruments as well (kazoos and such). jazz-ish.

they sound crazy.

are there any more lory d cd's other than the one out of
rephlex? i do like some of those tracks

and the last d'arcangelo release (broken toys corner) got
slated in reviews but i've chilled out to that loads - its a
real grower

and bochum welt released some blinding tracks on rephlex but
the last thing i got was the fashion 3" cd ages ago - any
new stuff due?

i don't think he's got anything else on cd's...and i doubt
you'd be able to get the vinyl, so perhaps your best chance
is slsk - check as much as you can, he released some great
stuff!

as for bochum welt - im not sure but i think woofer
mentioned something about new release coming up
