Yes, I decided to invent my very own genre, and to
celebrate I have uploaded an unfinished scousecore track.
This track is called scousecorev1 and is available
here for a limited time only before I take it off
and finish it is I remember it when my brain returns to
normal.

Kind regards.

Me.

hahaha it is like robots having a fight in outer space with
a choir going past at light speed singing to show they are
happy.

I bet you this will sound shit in the morning.

Why thank you. I just listened to it again and I thought it
was shit :D

I will change it tomorrow by removing the synth and beats as
replacing them with new synth and beats, which sounds like a
marvellous plan I am sure you will agree.

I've saved it and am currently sharing it on all major p2p
networks. I've renamed it 'wake up london, you're dead'.
I'll pop a CD in the post to Rephlex tomorrow...

Reeeeeeeeeeesult....

I'll stall Columbia, Warner, and EMI then and wait to hear.
Radio 1 just emailed me to say they want it on their A
playlist, but I said no because I want to be hardcore and
underground and stuff and avin it and all that.

can I do a really tedious remix (25+ minutes) and release it
under the name of AFx?

I would love that. But only if you promise to make it a
speedcore ragga acid techno dancehall acoutic ambient remix.

I shall, but I'm afraid I'll have to think up a new genre
for this very occassion.

I'm thinking along the lines of "hipsnot".

only if you make it the "one her majestys secret scouseness"
mix. And the remix would have to be in the style of Cilla
Blacks singing if she was a cyborg.

and the remixes could be released independently on
"Dicksneeze Records"

Cilla shouldn't find that hard to do.

Not Cilla Black. a cyborg version of Cilla
Black...hahaha...I want an acapella of Surprise Surprise for
teapots vibes thing.

offline JivverDicker from my house on 2004-03-01 20:58 [#01095385]

I'm on it! I'll do a dj tool version 'the man with the
stolen gun' on the b-side..

I'll give Cilla as she had all her garish jewelery stolen
recently, she'll do anything at the moment. I'll call her
Eurethra Franklin and it's set.

offline ecnadniarb on 2004-03-01 21:00 [#01095386]

That would be so lovely. Cilla Black doing a ragga version
of surprise surprise over a scousecore track. Every artist
worldwide would stop making music because it would be
pointless, this release would be like the peak of
perfection.

hahaha, I enjoyed this track very much, I think you should
continue with this scousecore genre, maybe throw in some
distorted vocal samples of well know (stereotypical) scouse
phrases, you know, come on you cunts style!

This reminds me of when I travelled to Liverpool in the year
2078. Some of the samples reminded me of autechre - under
boac. I think a bit more of a bassline would be cool. It's
pretty nice though. Good drumming, you have fast arms

yeah, this is pretty cool :)

I agree with horsefactory that a little bit more bass would
sound good in here, but i'm guessing that you wanted it to
stay out of the low freq range

this sounds like either

1) It could be made into a longer track

or

2) It could be like a little intro track for an album or
something

Anyways, I think it's pretty good

me being a liar?
is that a reason to bump this thread? ;)

I still have the track on my HD.
And I will review it... later.
I don't mean to push things forward to the future,
but I am suppose to write an essay now (and not hang on XLT
at all actually) - I'll write a GOOD review tomorrow.

thanks for understanding.
love.
